THE courts at the Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre will transform into a battlefield from 2pm tomorrow when the Warwick Boxing Tournament kicks off.

Karara Pig Races
THE Karara Tavern and Motel are hosting the very first Karara Pig Races this Sunday.
The event will feature six races and punters will be able to bid on the pigs in a calcutta prior to racing.
There will be a pig on the spit, live music, cold beer and raffles throughout the day.
Camping is available nearby if people want to stay, but Karara is only half an hour drive from Warwick.
Proceeds will go to the Karara community.

THE amazing Lawdogs Australia is celebrating its fifth birthday and will be open to the public all weekend.
It's a great chance to see puppies and adult dogs going through law enforcement training and doing demonstrations of protection, detection and agility in a one-hour sit-down show.

Excel Circuit event
THE first Excel Circuit Nationals will be held at Morgan Park Raceway tomorrow. There will be drivers from as far as Adelaide at the event which has attracted 29 Excel vehicles. An additional attraction tomorrow will be 60-minute race for production sports cars (prodsports) from a wide range of makes.

PISTOL shooting at the Inglewood range this weekend will start with a 25m standard pistol format for competitors to see where their pistol is hitting, then move along to action pistol rules. Then it will be back to the pistol bay area for some cap and ball revolver contests and a Kentucky muzzle loading pistol.

THE Warwick Cowboys will hold the club's annual trophy presentations tonight at the clubhouse at Father Ranger Oval.
The club won the TRL club championship for a second successive time this season as well as making grand finals in A and under-18 grades. There will be presentations to players for all four grades, plus perpetual trophies. Popular musician Butch Collier will provided the entertainment.
