ALLORA Men's Shed Members are on the front foot with their fundraising of late, their latest raffle carrying an impressive Impresso capsule coffee machine as top prize.

A lucky winner will be announced after the draw on September 30.

Men's Shed secretary Stuart Campbell advised community members can look forward to a substantial Christmas raffle of gardening tools as the festive season approaches.

The wonderful rain of late was a bonus for the local rural and business sector, however that wet weather recently caused the cancellation of a working bee to complete the fencing around the new Jubb St Men's Shed site.

"It is now hoped to have as many hands as possible on deck for this Saturday September 24 to finish the fencing," Mr Campbell said.

Visitors and community members are encouraged to call in to the Men's Shed with any small jobs or repairs that need attention.

"Everyone is welcome to call at our Herbert St shed during opening hours of Thursday and Saturday mornings," Mr Campbell said.
