Nine Sons of Dan are the wild card entry in this year's Channel V Oz Artist of the Year Award.

THE Top 50 nominees in Channel V's annual viewer-voted music awards were announced this morning and rapper 360 is once again in the running.

After being named 2011's Oz Artist of the Year, the accolades keep pouring in for the Melbourne MC.

He was recently nominated for six ARIA Awards for his sophomore album Falling & Flying.

There are quite a few 2012 ARIA nominees on the list, including Angus Stone, Gotye, Kimbra and Ricki-Lee Coulter.

But joining Oz Artist stalwarts like Guy Sebastian and the Hilltop Hoods are first-time nominees and up-and-comers like Alpine, Bleeding Knees Club, Chet Faker, Matt Corby, San Cisco and The Rubens.

Gold Coast pop rock five-piece Nine Sons of Dan are this year's wild card entry, as voted by fans on Channel V's website.

Voting is now open for the Top 50 and there will be daily eliminations for artists who are low on votes.

Each day Channel V will announce which artists are at risk of going and fans will have until 5pm to save them.

After three weeks, the Top 10 will be announced live on The Riff on Saturday November 3 at 10.30am (9.30am Qld time).
