Couple face child sex charges
A CLIFTON couple facing a list of host of child sex charges appeared in Warwick Magistrates Court yesterday morning.
The 17-year-old female and 18-year-old male are accused of coercing children as young as 13 to send naked photos of themselves.
Together they face 20 criminal charges, including possessing child abuse images, using the internet to procure children and engaging with sexual activity with a child using a phone.
The man was banned from his home town as a condition of being granted bail last month and yesterday sought to have that condition revoked so he could return to Clifton.
His application was denied by Magistrate Graham Lee.
The woman is due back in the court on October 30 and her alleged accomplice on November 27.
