CLASSIC, elegant style was the order of the day at the Stanthorpe Cup races.

Fashions on the Field judge Trish McCarthy said it was a pleasure to see so many race- goers dressed up.

"No one has gone too over the top and it is wonderful to see so many people making an effort and dressing up for the day," she said

"I think the fashion this year has been magnificent."
