Emergency work on Albion St

EMERGENCY works are being undertaken on Albion St (near Beaurepaires), the council has advised.

Crews are currently being mobilized to carry out repairs to a collapsing sewer main in this area.

Motorists are advised both south bound lanes of Albion St will be closed while these works are being undertaken, with traffic to be diverted along one of the north bound lanes in Albion Street.

Traffic control measures will be in place and motorists are asked to use caution if driving in this area.

Works are not expected to be complete until later tonight.
