IT'S beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Warwick following the highly anticipated arrival of Santa Claus at the weekend.

The big man took his seat in his Cinderella-themed wonderland in Rose City Shoppingworld on Saturday morning, surrounded by adoring fans.

He was not alone, with fairytale favourites joining Santa and entertaining the children.

Cinderella and her hilarious ugly stepsister impressed the crowd with Christmas carols.

But of course the children really had just one person on their minds.

Dakoda Cunning travelled from Allora to be the first person to share her Christmas wish list with Santa.

"I asked Santa to bring me some jewellery, a doll and a pram," she said.

Now that the jolly fat man has arrived, it's full steam ahead for Christmas celebrations.

Youngsters can have their photo taken any day from now until Christmas Eve, with instant photos meaning parents can walk away with their shots.

A mailbox outside Santa's setting is ready to be filled with letters from good boys and girls.

The ever-popular Carols in the Park is also a highlight of the festive season. It will be held at Leslie Park on December 16, from 6-9pm.
