MONTHS of planning are set to pay off, with the St Joseph's Fete returning next weekend.

Kicking off at 12pm on the senior school campus, the day will be filled with non-stop entertainment before the fireworks display in the evening.

Outside the Bathersby Centre, a hub of activity will be occurring with local market stallholders showcasing their wares. The Fete committee has worked hard to ensure everyone will be well catered for with rides, mobile laser skirmish, carnival games and more. Static displays from our local Ambulance, Police and Fire Station will be another added feature plus the return of Little Squirt to delight the crowd.

Popular Brisbane Band, Backroom Vegas will play until late, with a bar operating at night.

The first Fete raffle of $1,000 was drawn last week, won by year 2 student Abraham Caruso. Abraham hasn't decided how to spend the money but has said he still can't believe it.

Thank you to the ten local businesses : MJ Cleaners, K&A Building, The Little Bread & Coffee Shop, Andersens Carpets, Central Motors, St Joseph's P&F Association, MAG Plumbing & Gas, Ensbey Electrical, Crisps Coaches and Stanthorpe Painting Service for their sponsorship. A new raffle is now open with prizes of a signed Queensland State of Origin Jersey, a hamper of stall holder goodies and a $50 Itunes gift card. Tickets can be purchased from the school office or at the Fete. The raffle will be drawn on the evening of the fete.
