Full-blood blue dog is Maroons fan for State of Origin

Brandy is 100% blue heeler, but that won’t stop her from supporting the Queensland Maroons tonight.

SHE might be covered in blue fur and have the word blue in her name, but deep down Brandy the pure-bred blue heeler is 100% Queenslander.

And who can blame her.

Brandy has spent her whole life in Warwick, surrounded by diehard Maroons fans. And at seven years of age Brandy is yet to see her favourite side lose an Origin series.

At the time of print yesterday it looked as if Queensland still had a chance of claiming eight in a row, with the home side tipped as favourites at $1.52.

New South Wales odds sat at $2.60.

The home side were also considered the favourites to take out the first try of the match at $1.67.

Queenslanders Greg Inglis, Billy Slater and Darius Boyd have been dubbed as the Maroon's players most likely to score a try tonight.

Those who have to work tonight, are unable to watch tonight's game or wish to relive what will hopefully be a Queensland win again and again do not need to panic.
