ALLORA netballer Laura Geitz's dream of Commonwealth Games gold is now just two wins away.
Australia made it five wins from five matches when the Diamonds downed South Africa 64-40 in Glasgow.
The win wrapped up top spot in their pool and booked a spot in the semi-finals.
The Diamonds will play either arch rival New Zealand or Jamaica in the semis tomorrow.
Geitz had to settle for silver four years ago in Delhi and the Allora star was determined leading into the Games to go one better this time around.
Her squad has given itself every chance of doing that as the Diamonds have built momentum heading into the serious section of the competition.
Australia coach Lisa Alexander also got to use all 12 of her players in the win over South Africa, so the whole squad has court time heading into tomorrow's semi-final.
This gives Alexander the luxury to pick the seven starting players she thinks can get the job done against their semi-final opponent.
"I think Lisa's got three options for the starting seven and she's got a plan for either Jamaica or New Zealand," goal-keeper and captain Geitz said.
"We've got to be prepared for whoever we come up against."
