High performance vehicles stolen

DETECTIVES are investigating after two high performance vehicles were stolen from a Windsor car yard overnight.

Around 12.40am the dealership on the corner of Newmarket and Kedron Brook roads was entered and the keys to a number of vehicles were located.

One vehicle was then driven through a showroom window but was abandoned after becoming stuck.

Two other vehicles were then successfully driven through another showroom window and over a bollard to access Newmarket Road.

A passing ambulance stopped to render assistance to what they believed was a traffic crash but the driver was abused by one of the offenders and a window was punched.

The ambulance moved away but was clipped on the rear by one of the vehicles involved.

The two ambulance officers were not physically injured.

Four other vehicles in the dealership were also damaged during the incident.

The two stolen vehicles are a white 2012 Holden HSV Maloo R8 utility and a silver 2012 Commodore HSV Club Sports sedan.  They were last seen travelling east on Newmarket Road.

The three offenders are described as wearing balaclavas.

Anyone with information which could assist police with their investigations should contact Crime Stoppers anonymously via 1800 333 000 or crimestoppers.com.au 24hrs a day.
