Lights out on the Granite Belt

ERGON Energy crews are working to restore supply to 6200 customers in the Stanthorpe region by redirecting their supply from other feeder lines.

A fault yet to be identified on the 110kV power line between the Warwick and Stanthorpe substations caused the power supply to customers to be interrupted about 10.10am.

Preparatory work to restore supply to some customers is under way, although an estimated time of restoration is not yet available.

Customers have been affected in Amiens, Applethorpe, Ballandean, Dalveen, Glen Aplin, Severnlea, Stanthorpe, The Summit, Thulimbah and surrounding areas.
