WELCOME to your new look website which puts local news and your stories first.
As well as providing the best regional breaking news and sports service, your local website is designed to allow you to far more easily join the conversation - and share stories that matter to you.
But this site is not just about news.
It's about local events, community notices, sharing your personal story - or your son or daughter's success at the soccer final.
We've made it a lot easier for you to contribute your own stories so you can sing the praises of someone who deserves recognition in the community.
And if you want to get an urgent message out to your community - you can do it right here on our new noticeboard.
We will continue to provide Australia's biggest national and state stories from our news desk - particularly focusing on how they impact on regional areas.
Our websites are being run locally by digital producers who are encouraged to interact even more with the local community.
You will hear them asking for your suggestions on the stories we cover, the questions you want answered, as well as providing a place for the community to have their say every day on the issues that really matter.
So let's have a look at some of the new features.
The home page delivers the best local stories, photos, videos, comments from readers as well as news from neighbouring regions.
There are easy links to news, sport, business and lifestyle stories as well as a great new pop out photo gallery - which is best seen with a Chrome or Firefox browser.
If you look in the top navigation menu, Find Your Local is the place where you can search for local businesses.
This will allow local firms to better promote themselves to an already strong local audience.
Things to do features local events - contributed by the community. You can easily place an event - at no cost. Just login to the site (or register first if you are new) and add all the details.
You can find an event by location, date or category.
Things to do all features the latest entertainment stories, gigs and your TV guide.
Your Local Life section - with your help - will become the hub of the community.
It showcases local faces, both local and regional opinion pieces, videos and most importantly your people stories.
You can now contribute your own stories through the Your Story section. It can be a story about a burning local issue, one of your kids' successes, whatever takes your fancy.
Please feel free to upload an image with your story, as it is far more likely to get read.
The Noticeboard is where you can post about road hazards, soccer match cancellations, or anything you think the wider community needs to know about.
Where available, you will also find Traffic Cams to allow you to check on local roads before you head out.
We have introduced a new Jobs category featuring the latest employment stories, together with local business advice and success stories.
The revved up Cars section features the latest news, reviews, photo galleries, road tests and even a sneak peak at future models.
Our Real Estate section will feature local properties for sale as well as the best advice, together with handy tools and calculators covering everything from borrowing to saving and investing.
Our new-look Classifieds section features the latest job, property and car ads as well as notices, tributes, personals and garage sales.
We hope you will enjoy your new website, which will be continually improved, as part of our commitment to provide the ultimate one stop place to find news, information and share your stories while supporting local advertisers.
