RUGBY UNION: David Pocock is confident of being fit for this Saturday's Bledisloe Cup clash with the rampant All Blacks at Eden Park.

The Wallabies flanker has been out of action since breaking his hand during the Test against Argentina last month.

The 28-year-old has trained with the squad this week and said the hand was "feeling pretty good”.

The Wallabies will need all hands on deck as they attempt to beat the hosts at the venue for the first time in 30 years.

"Going over there to Eden Park is always a huge challenge for any team,” Pocock said.

The visitors are already coming off two massive defeats to their arch-rivals during the Rugby Championship - 42-8 in the opening Test and then 29-9 a week later - before stepping foot on their greatest graveyard.

"It's been a pretty tough Rugby Championship,” Pocock said.

"We certainly haven't achieved what we set out to, but I think we've probably learnt a lot as a squad and we get a last crack at it before we head off on the spring tour.

"I think a lot of the learning has been for individual guys to step up to a higher level.

"If you drop off for 10 minutes that's the game, especially against New Zealand.”

Augustine Pulu has been called in to the All Blacks squad to replace Aaron Smith, who was stood down from selection.
