Road works to finish soon
THE current road works between The Summit and Dalveen will be short and sweet.
A spokeswoman for Transport and Main Roads said the works would not affect motorists for long.
"The work started on Monday and we expect it will be finished tomorrow - weather permitting," she said.
"We're carrying out work on sections of the New England Hwy...in preparation for an upcoming reseal program.
"Motorists can expect changed traffic conditions, including reduced speed limits, traffic control and minor delays of up to 10 minutes when travelling through the worksite.
"Safety is our top priority and we urge all drivers to obey road signs and instructions from traffic controllers."
Details for the upcoming reseal program are still to be confirmed.
