IF YOU are a Big Mac fan looking for your next fix or still to try the iconic burger then wait no longer.

Today is McHappy Day and $2 from every Big Mac sold goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

McDonald's Warwick assistant manager Rebecca Smith said this was the 21st year of the restaurant's major fundraising effort.

"Ronald McDonald House Charities has 13 houses around Australia that house seriously sill children and their families," she said.

"This event helps raise money for that.

"Last year we raised $5000 as a store and this year our goal is $6366.

"We hope to raise more than that though."

Ms Smith said the $1 and $10 helping hands also contributed to the fundraising as would 10 cents from every Happy Meal sold this month.

Celebrations are at the Albion St restaurant are from 11am-2pm and will include entertainment and if the weather is right a jumping castle.
