THE strings are being tuned and the vocals warmed up as seven of the state's coolest bands head to Warwick.

Burning Brooklyn, Double Lined Minority, Set The Record, Alert The Pharaoh, AfterGlow, Lust For Words and Today's Friday will hit the stage tomorrow night.

Matt Vels, from Alert the Pharaoh, said they were pumped and ready to show Warwick "a big party".

Admission to the all-ages gig is $20, at Warwick Town Hall.

Doors open 5pm.
