WARWICK East State School may have a few Van Gogh's on their hands, after prep, year 1 and year 2 students shone in the Queensland Country Women's Association colouring-in competition.

Krysta Jamieson took out first place for the year 2s, Emily Mauch, second, and Madeline Bullock, third.

Yesterday, the year 2 class was entertained by Yvonne Wilkinson and Michelle Slater of the QCWA who performed a Spanish dance to keep within the theme of their pictures, Chile.

Krysta's entry will now go into the district level of judging and if it is successful, will go to Toowoomba for the state judging.

The QCWA congratulated all students for their entries.
