WESTS Tigers captain Robbie Farah slotted a field goal in golden point to lift his side to a 15-14 victory over the Titans on the Gold Coast on Saturday night.

The visitors were trailing 14-12 with a minute to go before Farah charged down a kick and chased the ball down with the try line at his mercy.

He was then taken out by Titans full-back Phil Graham, who was duly sent to the sin bin, and the Tigers took the two points from right in front to level the game and send the contest to extra time.

Gold Coast half-back Jordan Rankin then dropped the ball on the Titans opening set of golden point and Farah made them pay with his drop goal from point blank range.

It was the Tigers third straight win after a terrible start to the season while it condemned the Titans to a 13th loss from their last 14 home games.
