FOOTBALL:Forty children, aged six to 14, have turned up for the annual football camp at Queens Park this week.
Three coaches from the Total Football Academy have travelled from Gold Coast to Warwick for the four-day camp which finishes today.
Head coach Dean Gregory has been joined in Warwick this week by former Huddersfield (UK) player Danny Morton and Dan Sutcliff who is a former coach at Preston (UK).
Gregory said he had noticed the improvement in the standard of players since the first Total Football Academy visit in April.
"The Warwick coaches are doing a good job,” he said.
Total Football Academy conducts 30 camps a year with the aim to improve the standard of football in Australia.
"We want to pass on our knowledge and experience to the players who are coming to the camp. The aim is to improve them as people as well as players.”
Total Football Academy will return for another camp in 2017 so interested players are asked to make inquiries through the Warwick association.
