FORGET glass slippers and ball gowns, this princess pageant is about RMs, designer jeans and showing off your horsemanship.

And Rodeo Princess entrant Tracey Madsen is ready to show the judges just why she should take the crown.

"(I'm doing it for) the experience and to meet new people," 14-year-old Tracey said.

Having won the tiny tots category many years ago and competed in the junior cowgirl section twice,

Tracey is no stranger to the quest. She loves nothing more than mounting her trusty black stock horse, Timmy, and galloping around the arena in the camp drafts and competing in various pony club events.

If you're considering entering the quest, you have just two days left.

Entries close Friday at 5pm. For more information phone 4660 9060.
