RESIDENTS will start returning to their homes today as the flood waters caused by the ex-tropical cyclone Oswald recede.

Up to 40 homes in Warwick were inundated with flood water and the Southern Downs Regional Council are looking for volunteers to help hose out and clean up these home.

If you wish to volunteer phone the Southern Downs Regional Council on 4661 0300 and ask to register as a volunteer.

Also if you or someone you know is in need of help to clean up their home or business phone the council on the same number so they can dispatch volunteers to their location.
