DON Browne has been Warwick Cowboys A-grade manager for the past seven years and hasn't witnessed a team playing with as much enthusiasm as the class of 2008.
Despite an excellent finish to the first round (11 weeks), Browne said the side must win four of its final five games to be assured of a top-five finish.
Warwick hosts Wattles tomorrow and Browne is wary of the Warriors in the local derby at 7.15pm.
"Wattles is out of finals contention and will treat the game as a grand final," Browne said.
Back Ben Sullivan requires knee surgery and is out for the season and David O'Leary is battling a hamstring injury.
While the Cowboys will only have two or three fresh reserves this week, Browne said a number of players from the President's Cup winning Warwick reserve-grade sides were in contention for a call-up.
The first game is a Warwick/Valleys C-grade game at 3.15pm.
