TREES have always been a major part of the Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival.
Festival assistant Shona Gibson said the 2009 festival committee had gone one step further.
“They have grown their own Jumpers and Jazz wooden display trees,” Ms Gibson quipped.
“The Warwick Woodcrafters have taken on the task and created black wooden trees.
“The trees are perfect for dressing up or putting signs on and this year the trees will be displayed at venues that are part of the festival's official program.
“Trees will begin to appear at local venues from next week, so keep a look out for the hottest spots in Warwick this winter.”
The Jumpers and Jazz in July 2009 festival programs are now available.
“You can pick one up from the Warwick Town Hall, Warwick Art Gallery and all participating venues,” Ms Gibson said.
“It's a great time to start planning what you want to do during the festival and a great reason to invite your friends from Brisbane to enjoy the Warwick winter with plenty of activities to suit everyone.”
