THE Scots PGC College was crowned overall champion school at the Equestrian Extravaganza held at the Warwick Showgrounds at the weekend.
About 30 teams competed in the disciplines of showjumping, dressage, showman, show horse and combined training.
Scots won the overall team event with a score of 2310.30, with second-placed the Glennie School on 1110.8 and Brisbane Girls' Grammar College in third on 522.5.
Scots was first and third in the team showjumping, first in the team combined training, first and second in the team showman and first and third in the team show horse.
The Scots PGC College equestrian instructor Richard King was ecstatic with the performance of the whole team.
The college had 25 riders competing at the extravaganza, with 20 qualifying for the State Championships to be held from Thursday to Sunday this week at the Warwick Showgrounds.
