Top drag racers in town for series

MORE than 100 competitors will be at Warwick Dragway on Saturday for round one of the South Queensland Eighth Mile (200 metres) Drag Racing Series.
There are 101 nominations already and another 25 are expected on the day.
Warwick Drag Racing Association president Chris Loy said all of the competitors on Saturday would be professional drivers and riders.
“There are four rounds of the series, the others are at Roma, Willowbank and Benaraby Dragway at Gladstone,” Loy said.
“This event will be as good as the best we have had at the Warwick Dragway.
Qualifying from 10am and racing from 5.30pm Saturday.
