Adam Cummins took 4-8 off seven overs for Wheatvale in a semi-final victory in A grade.

ANOTHER man-of-the-match performance from Wheatvale all-rounder Adam Cummins against Inglewood tomorrow at Slade Park could see his side progress into the Warwick A-grade cricket grand final.

Cummins should receive good support from fellow new-ball bowler AJ McQueen, who consistently landed his outswingers against Maryvale last weekend.

Wheatvale opening batsman Chris Cantwell should provide some resistance to the strong Inglewood bowling line-up at the top of the order.

The Inglewood side will look for Nick Campbell and Brendon Knight to set the platform with the bat for their side to score more than 200 runs. Inglewood opening bowler Neil McCosker will need to get early wickets.

This should prove an interesting game as Inglewood appears to have more depth in its bowling than Wheatvale.

In the reserve grade semi-final, Carey Meateors opening bowlers Jim Callaghan and Vivian Benz should cause the Sovereign Animals batsman some problems at Queen’s Park turf tomorrow.

Sovereign Animals have trained hard to be competitive at this time of year with a big score expected from Tony Morrisey.

Shaun Paige could add quick runs when the new ball loses some of its shine.

Grand finals will be on March 20, followed by the presentation of trophies for the season.
