Last days for locks

SHAGGY hair won't be a fashion statement for this teenager any longer as Anthony McVeigh will soon be bald to promote awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.

Assumption College deputy principal Craig Frattini and Anthony McVeigh are ready to loose their locks for the Leukaemia Foundation World’s Greatest Shave.

SHAGGY hair won’t be a fashion statement for this teenager any longer as Year 12 student Anthony McVeigh will soon be bald to promote awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.

“I thought it would be a wonderful experience and a great way to raise money for families affected by the condition,” Anthony said.

Assumption College deputy principal Craig Frattini said if Anthony raised $500 by March 19, he too would throw his hair in the ring to support the cause.

“Some of the girls want to auction off my eyebrows – I think I’ll draw the line at that,” he laughed.
