Clifton show
AS SHOW season gets 2018 off to a great start, it's now Clifton's turn to put themselves on display.
It all kicks off today through to Sunday and will feature a rodeo, prime cattle and sheep judging, side show alley, live entertainment, pig races, dog show and all the exhibits in the pavilion.
An ATM will be on site on Saturday.

Cricket fixtures
BOTH junior and senior cricketers from the district will take to the pitch tomorrow as fixtures roll toward the business end of the season.
Juniors will play at Glennie Heights, Warwick East and Queens Park from 8am and seniors will play at Slade Park, Mayhew Oval and Allora from 12.30pm.

Whether you're an Olympic aspirant or keen for a leisurely stroll, everybody is welcome, and you can even bring your doggo (providing they are on a lead).
It doesn't cost a cent to enter, but you do need to be registered on the parkrun website.

No permit is needed but if you want to fish in Connolly or Leslie Dams or the Talgai weir, you'll need to grab yourself a permit.

A permit will set you back $10 for a week, or $50 for a year.
