12yo girl 'busted doing burnouts'

A CHILD who was allegedly caught doing "burnouts" in her parent's car in a Sydney street is being interviewed by police.

About 1.30am Thursday police were patrolling a street in Werrington where they allegedly found a 12-year-old girl behind the wheel with two young passengers in the back seat.

When officers woke the girl's mother she said she was not aware her daughter had taken the car for a joy ride.
Investigations are continuing.
