Candelit vigil
THE Zonta Club of Warwick will complete their 16 Days of Activism campaining against violence against women tonight, with a peace walk and vigil at the Queens Park riverwalk.
Participants will be able to enjoy a light refreshment at the hockey club upon completion of the walk.

Cricket fixtures
ANOTHER huge weekend for Warwick cricket this weekend.
Redbacks take on Colts in a charity match at Slade Park.
The Redbacks boys will wear specially made orange shirts to join in with the Zonta Club of Warwick's 16 Days of Activism for the eradication of violence against women.
Maryvale and Wheatvale will play each twice, firstly tomorrow from noon to make up for round one and again on Sunday at 10am.
Both games will be played at Mayhew Oval.
Sovereign will play Allora Rascals at Queens Park and Inglewood take on Allora at Allora both games from 12pm tomorrow.

Carols at Stanny
STANTHORPE will ring with the sounds of Yuletide tonight.
The entire community is invited to the sound shell and Weeroona Park for a festive occasion featuring all the old favourites and much much more.
Bring the kids, bring a blanket or a chair and bring a jumper because it might be a little chilly tomorrow night.

BALLANDEAN Estate - the oldest winery in the Granite Belt - has been making great vino for over 70 years.
There are daily tours over the weekend so that you can ask those questions you have always wanted answered about your favourite drop.
The Barrel Room Cafe is open for lunch and dinner where you can relax in the company of 150 year old wine barrels.
