5 things to try in Warwick this week
1. Pratten’s Biggest Morning Tea
HEAD out to 186 Big Hill Road , Pratten on Thursday morning for a fundraiser with a difference.
Dress as something beginning with T or bring along your favourite mug and match it with what you wear.
Entry donation is $5 and you can also take a tour of the gardens for an extra $2 or play a round of golf for and extra $6.
There will be raffles and an auction of pre-loved will be held at 12 noon.
2. Feed your mind
THE awesome guys at Food Assist in Warwick have started a free literature program in Warwick and are giving away free books.
Head in there, grab a book, read it and take it back for someone else to read.
Open Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm.
3. Speak with confidence
WARWICK Toastmasters meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 7.30pm in the Warwick Library meeting room.
They are open to everyone older than 18 and are a great way to gain confidence with the art of publice speaking and presentation.
EVERY Wednesday at 4pm, try some mindfulness meditation with Terry Pinney.
Phone 0409585665 for more details.
5. Browse the work of local artisans
WARWICK Potters’ Association Gallery is open every Wednesday and Saturday at the Potters House, 63 Horsman Rd.
Have a look at the fantastic work from local potters and take something home.
Great for unique gift ideas.
