$550k for health and safety

MINISTER for Finance and Services Greg Pearce has announced $550,000 in grants to assist small businesses in understanding the new work health and safety laws.

"This is the biggest change to work health and safety laws NSW has seen and we need to supply small businesses with the tools they need to adapt to these changes," he said.

"The grants will be available to organisations that develop and implement training programs to help businesses understand the new laws and how they impact their workplace.

Applications close at 4.30pm on January 30.
