6 things to do in Warwick this week
Here’s a few things to keep you occupied this week in Warwick.
1. Get scared!
THE Video Ezy Night of Horrors is on this Friday night, May 13.
Even if you are not into horror, this night has something for the whole family.
The Night of Horrors is a fun night for all ages.
There is a jumping castle and a merry-go-round for the little ones,
Jumbo slides, larger jumping castles, swinging chair ride for the mid age and then the faster rides for the more daring.
The main stage will be amazing with two magic shows, a dance show, and then a sword swallowing/fire breathing show.
There will also be indoor laser skirmish for all ages.
2. Pick up a bargain
Get along to the Civic Video Closing down sale.
Heaps of DVDs on sale from all genres.
3. Make some music.
MAINLY Music meets every Thursday from at the Uniting Church from 9.15am.
It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and make some lovely music.
4. Head to the shed
THE Men’s Shed meet every Wednesday morning on the corner of Tooth St and Glen Rd.
A great opportunity for blokes to get together and work on projects together.
Help charities and local groups as well.
5. Try your hand at some handycraft
THE CWA Ladies get stuck into the handy craft every Wednesday morning.
Meet up with them at the QCWA Hall in Grafton St and get crafting!
6. Meet with other young mothers
If you’re a young mother, here’s an opportunity to meet with other young mothers.
Gather at the Baptist Church from 10am on Friday, learn from others and talk about your own experiences.
