$8000 stolen from Red Rooster in Warwick

WARWICK man allegedly took off with $8000 in cash after breaking into Red Rooster in the Rose City.

At about 2am on Easter Monday, the 18-year-old allegedly entered the fast food outlet.

The break in was reported about 8.25am the same morning.

Warwick Police Sergeant Ryan Harmer said the man was arrested and charged with break and enter yesterday.

He was later bailed and will face Warwick Magistrates Court on May 2.

Police investigations are continuing.
