Drunken cricket-goers get turfed out from Boxing Day test

POLICE kicked out 90 drunk and rowdy cricket-goers from the MCG on Boxing Day and issued 32 tickets for alcohol- related offences.

A police spokesman said 50 people were ejected for bad behaviour, 11 for throwing objects, seven for being drunk and two for using bad language.

One man was turfed out twice, having re-entered the stadium.
