Haworth Park supercross track hailed as best in Australia
THE supercross track at Haworth Park was touted as the best in Australia by some of the nation's top riders who tested out the track for the first time during round two of the Queensland Supercross Championships at the weekend.
After three rounds of racing Daniel McCoy won the Pro Open category.
Toowoomba rider Jacob Wright claimed the second spot on the podium with Matt Haworth taking out third.
Robbie Marshall finished in fourth position.
The favourite Matt Moss crashed out in the final round.
Haworth Park owner, and the man behind the track, Robert Haworth said it was a great day of racing.
"At the presentations the riders said the track was the best they had seen in Australia," he said.
"I was stoked when I heard that."
After a successful first event Haworth said he would definitely be putting his hand up to hold more supercross events.
