Tye to represent NZ for polocrosse

JAIMEE Tye was chosen to represent New Zealand for the Junior Scholarship Exchange program between Queensland and New Zealand Polocrosse Associations for 2010.

Jaimee arrived in Australia on July 29 and spent three weeks with the Lamb family from Killarney. Jaimee travelled and played at three carnivals in Queensland, Gold Coast, Chinchilla and Goondiwindi.

April Lamb went to NZ on a Junior scholarship earlier this year and hosted Jaimee as a reciprocal polocrosse junior.

Jaimee enjoyed her stay in Australia, with the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends and play some tough polocrosse. She played for the Cunningham Club and also participated in the women’s competition in Chinchilla.

The exchange program is a great way for young polocrosse players to experience this family orientated sport at its best and encourages up and coming polocrosse players to gain a once in a lifetime experience.
