Lions Club raffle the biggest yet

FOR the past two weeks the Lions Club of Warwick members have been camped outside both the entrances to Rose City Shoppingworld conducting their Christmas hamper raffle.

This year's proved to be the biggest one yet with tickets selling to a large number of Warwick residents and even out-of-town shoppers too.

Lions Club of Warwick public relations officer Con Lo Giudice thanked everyone for their support.

"We can assure them the funds raised for this hamper will go back to the community in need," he said.

"A big thanks goes to all the businesses and shops that have contributed and donated to this year's magnificent hamper.

"And a big thanks has to go to our friend and great supporter Alan who's built and donated the red sleigh."

Mr Lo Giudice said the raffle was a great way to end their busy year helping out in the community including raising money for the community of Pratten after it was hit with a super storm earlier in the year.

He said the Lions were also involved in Driver Reviver these holidays.
