TV Talent winner Mark Vincent to duet with Lucy Boland

AUSTRALIA'S Got Talent winner Mark Vincent will do a duet with Warwick entertainer Lucy Boland at the Music Interlude in the Rose City on March 23 at 2pm at the Warwick Town Hall.

Mr Vincent, who won Australia's Got Talent at 15, will be joined in Warwick by the Queensland Kodaly Choir conducted by Dr James Cuskelly and local talented performers.

The event will support MontoseAccess, a body which assists children with physical disability.

Warwick Tourism and Events CEO Tracy Vellacott will be the compere.

MontroseAccess official Leanne Liesegang said four to five Warwick residents were being helped by MontroseAccess.

"The Warwick clients are part of a group of 60 to 70 on the Darling Downs who are supported through therapy, support for their needs and support with resources," Ms Liesegang said.

"Therapists go into schools to assist where necessary."

She said it was a coup to attract Mark Vincent to Warwick.

"He will be in Toowoomba on the Saturday so it was a great chance to bring him to Warwick on the Sunday," she said.

"Mark is someone who is genuinely interested in people and down to earth. He has just put out his fifth album and is only 20."

Dr Cuskelly is originally from Warwick so will return to his hometown with the choir.

Ms Liesegang (nee McEniery) is originally from Warwick and recalls working in the town at Style Shoes. Her daughter is now a teacher at Assumption College.

Mark will be a four-course dinner for charity at Veraison restaurant in Toowoomba on the Saturday night before the trip to Warwick.

Ms Boland, who graduated from Warwick High last year and was Student of the Year, is a popular performer on the Southern Downs.
