POLICE want the owners of thousands of dollars of goods to come forward and claim what is rightfully theirs.
Toowoomba Tactical Crime Squad officer Senior Constable Steve Ingerson said police seized the bounty of believed-to-be-stolen items from a shipping container during a raid on Monday.
He said the raid was in Toowoomba, but would not elaborate further on the location.
Inside was a range of goods including laptop and desktop computers, speakers, guitars, amplifiers, remote control helicopters and a flat screen television.
"There are a few (distinctive) things we thought might work by putting it out there," Snr Const Ingerson said.
"We'll do computer checks to see if we can identify the owners."
He was not sure how long the goods had been in the container.
No one had been charged over the raid yesterday but investigations were continuing.

"Obviously, they have got to be able to show some sort of proof."
