A few sunny days still to come with warm weather forecast

AFTER sweltering through soaring temperatures over the past few days, Warwick is in for a little relief - but be sure to not let the icy pole supply run out.

The mercury climbed to a searing 35 degrees on Tuesday, sending Rose City dwellers into hiding, in search for air-conditioning and a cool drop to drink.

Weatherzone meteorologist Mellissa Mackellar said the next few days were set to stay nice and warm, with a couple of millimetres of rain on the horizon.

"The forecast is for sunny days until (today) and a chance of showers (tomorrow)," she said.

Temperatures are expected to "cool" to 31 degrees today, 29 tomorrow and 30 on Saturday, before climbing back to 31 on Sunday.

Monday could deliver up to 10mm of rain for Warwick.
