Man loses arm in horror collision in North Queensland

A MAN's arm has been torn off in a horror crash in northwest Queensland.

Police say the man's car veered onto the wrong side of the road and crashed head-on with a ute at Croydon, east of Normanton, just before 10pm last night.

The man lost his arm in the collision and was medivacced to Townsville, while the sole occupant male driver of the ute was not physically injured.
