Warwick High gets $12,000 multi-purpose shed
A NEW $12,000 multi-purpose shed has been officially unveiled at Warwick State High School's Mt Gordon Campus.
Warwick State High School principal Cheryl Bullion said the shed, largely funded by the Rotary Club of Warwick, would provide much-needed work and storage space.
"This will be huge, they've previously had to make do with temporary facilities," Mrs Bullion said.
"This will be a good space for the students to work in but it is multi-purpose and can be used to store equipment too."
Mrs Bullion thanked the Rotary Club of Warwick for their contribution.
"This is a fantastic example of 'it takes a village to raise a child'," she said.
"This is a perfect example of the Rotary Club helping out the wider community.
"Rotary raises a lot of money all over the world and I think it's fantastic they have raised money for the local community as well."
Rotary Club of Warwick president Darren Bray said Rotary was proud to help out for a good cause.
"It's nice to help out for a genuine purpose," Mr Bray said.
"This shed will not only help Mt Gordon, by helping the students it will help the wider community."
