A shady space to sit and share

THERE'S nothing better than sitting outside and having a chat in the shade, and now visitors to headspace Warwick have that opportunity.

The community youth counselling organisation successfully obtained $2800 from the Southern Downs Regional Council Community Grants Program to create a shady space for their clients in which to sit and share.

Headspace Warwick manager Sophia McLucas said the shade sail had been a hit with her clients.

"It gives youths another place to sit and talk if they're not comfortable inside," she said.

The headspace team is also planning on revamping the gardens at their Albion St office.
