Accident on Cunningham Highway this morning

A MAN has being transported to Warwick Hospital with a shoulder injury after an accident on the Cunningham Highway north of Warwick.

The accident was on the section of highway between Warwick and the Eight Mile just near Jensen Rd.

The Brisbane driver was the only person in the car and the vehicle and trailer ended up on its side on the edge of the highway.

Warwick police said the trailer was carrying a large digital television which was being taken to Bathurst for a motorsport event.

"There was some damage to the television,”' he said.

Emergency services were called to the scene just after 8am. There was one report to emergency services that the accident was at Gladfield but this report was incorrect.
