All Allora battle in reserve-grade cricket in Warwick

CRICKET: For the second time in three years, it will be an all Allora grand final in Warwick reserve-grade cricket.

Railway Hotel Rascals beat Inglewood by 44 runs in the qualifying final on Saturday and will play Allora in the grand final next Saturday.

The Rascals team was formed by Allora school teacher Brad Johnson and he led from the front yesterday to be one of Rascals best batsmen with 31 not out.

Batting first, Rascals made 170 with Jake Christensen top scoring with 53. Tom Morris made 24.

 Ted Callaghan was the best of the Inglewood bowlers with 3-31 while Jamien Smith took 2-22 and Darren Apted 2-33.

Shane Hooper took three catches behind the stumps for Inglewood.

 Inglewood was dismissed for 126 in the 40 over a side game.

In A grade, Redbacks and Maryvale Condamine meet at Slade Park today from 10.30am to secure the second spot in the A-grade premiership decider.

The winner of today's match will meet Warwick Hotel Colts in the grand final.
