All seniors office bearers back in

THERE was no major shake-up at the general meeting of the National Seniors Association Warwick branch yesterday afternoon, with all of last year's committee members returned to their former positions.

The office bearer roles will be filled by president Thelma Moore, vice-president Daphne Whatley, secretary Margaret McCosker, treasurer Carmel McQueen and zone chairman Bob Holden.

About 50 members not only from Warwick, but also Stanthorpe and Toowoomba, gathered at Williams Hall in Guy St at 2pm for the meeting yesterday.

Mrs Moore said the organisation was looking forward to a busy time ahead, which would be filled with bus trips and fundraising.

"We are always looking for new members and this would suit anyone who is over 50 and interested in day trips," she said.

"We have been all over the place and the trips are done at a reasonable price and are a great social event for the members."

Anyone who is interested in joining or learning more can phone Thelma on 4667 0558 or Margaret on 4661 2225.
