HOCKEY: Budding hockey players can learn more about the game and have fun at two Warwick Hockey Association activities next week at Queens Park.
Juniors, aged 8-12, can learn about the game at a coaching clinic, play some hockey and enjoy some fun summer activities on Tuesday and Thursday next week.
Players are asked to be at the ground by 8.30am and the activities will go to 4pm each day.
The registration fee is $50 per day and includes lunch, drinks, admission to WIRAC and coaching by Warwick level 2 coach and association participation director Angela Groves and assistant Hayley Schnitzerling.
All of the participants are asked to bring togs, a towel and goggles as they will head to WIRAC each day for a swim.
Older juniors, 13-18 years, will be catered for at Get Back Into Hockey Day run by association volunteers next Friday from 10am-3pm at Queens Park.
There will be round robin games, drills and a sausage sizzle as part of the clinic.
Cost for the day is $10 a player.
There is no need to RSVP, just turn up.
Players new to hockey welcome to both programs as well as players planning to re-sign for another Warwick season.
