All Wolves games in Toowoomba this weekend

FOOTBALL: The competition leading Warwick Colts will play Garden City in a top-two clash in Football Toowoomba fixtures on Friday night.

The game is at 8pm Friday at Commonwealth Oval.

Warwick will be without Nick Spence who has a calf injury.

The same two teams will play in a fortnight in the major semi-final.

In senior football, Warwick plays Rockville in reserves at 1pm Sunday with the premier game at 3pm at Captain Cook Oval.

Peter Darton is in his 50s but is still playing strongly for Warwick in reserves.

He will play in the forwards or midfield and said there would be a lot of opportunities next season for young players keen to make it in senior football.

"Reserves is a great stepping stone to premiers in future seasons,” he said.

This weekend's footy is the second last round of the season with Warwick playing St Alban's in the last round at Middle Ridge in a week's time.
